Exhibits
of the Skokie
Historical Society
The fabric of America and
Skokie is best displayed in the exhibition of artifacts which have their
own story to tell. The second floor of the Skokie Heritage Museum is
devoted to traveling exhibits. All traveling exhibits are sponsored by
the Skokie Park District.
Some Niles East High School trophies are on permanent exhibit at
Niles West and Niles North high schools. The Historical Society raised
money to fund the construction of a custom-crafted trophy case at each
remaining Niles Township High School to display the trophies earned at
Niles East, which closed in 1980. The trophy case at Niles West is
located in the hallway at the swimming pool entrance; the trophy case at
Niles North is located outside the west entrance to the main gymnasium
